The municipality of Saint-Arsène is located about 15 kilometers east of Rivière-du-Loup. The Saint-Arsène landscape features a few undulating plateaus forming steps. From the edge of these glacial terraces, the view generally extends to the St. Lawrence River and even further to the mountains of Charlevoix on the other side of the river. In the south of the territory, the land falls toward the peaceful valley of the rivière Verte (Green River), from where the view extends to the foot of the Appalachian Mountains.
