The Rivière-du-Loup region, a fertile community for entrepreneurs!

Local service providers, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Foundation, have formed a committee aimed at encouraging the entrepreneurial potential of the Rivière-du-Loup MRC population through their involvement in social, sports and cultural spheres, through setting up new businesses and as a result, through job creation within the region. Since 2006, the Rivière-du-Loup region has been recognized as a model community of entrepreneurial culture, with its strong concentration of SMEs per person and low number of bankruptcies being a couple important factors.
